I first started reading V For Vendetta in the old black and white British comic "Warrior" along with Father Shandor Demon Stalker (Which caused uproar with the hanging of Father Shandor scene, and almost got it banned from publication afterwards) and so many more wonderful comic strips. Natalie Portman nailed the character she plays perfectly in this film, even though a lot of the violence of the comic was taken out, losing much of its dark edge, but still a good adaptation for the screen.
