In Martin Fisher's RISERS, when people die with a secret they often come back as living corpses; in order to finally pass on they must reveal their secret. In Annette Thomas' case, she can't figure out what her secret is and why she has come back. One thing is clear though: she better find out soon, otherwise she will slowly start turning into one of the permanently undead: an animalistic, flesh eating, zombie!
