1978 Chevrolet Performance Classic Truck Concept.
This late-1970s-era pickup is glorious. Besides being possibly the nicest example of any pickup to roll off an assembly line in 1978, the truck was fully restored with a few Chevrolet Performance add-ons for a dash of modernity. The engine, for example, is Chevy’s 5.3-liter V-8 crate motor mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. Everything, from the frame, suspension, brakes, steering, body, and houndstooth (!) interior has been totally refurbished, bringing this truck from merely retro-cool to outright gorgeous.
